Earlier this year I checked out this new foodie website, Foodbuzz, and got to know a bunch of fellow food bloggers from it, so I applied to become a Feature Foodbuzz Publisher. If you click on the Foodbuzz badge at the top right of this blog you'll connect to the Foodbuzz website where you can check out thousands of blog posts, recipes, restaurant reviews and interesting accounts of food-oriented road trips and culinary history.
Yesterday was the official launch date for the Foodbuzz website and I am happy to promote this cool new foodie site that has hooked me up with great new foodie buddies from 45 different countries around the world. Last month, Foodbuzz sponsored a global blogging marathon with 24 Meals, 24 Hours, 24 Blogs that showcased the diversity of the Foodbuzz community. This event included a fascinating post on medieval Serbian cuisine, an outdoor lunch in Athens, Greece, a Hawaiian luau, a garden party on the Jersey shore with ten foot high tomato vine backgrounds and a dissertation on South Carolina barbecue.
To check out my profile on Foodbuzz, you can click here and then try jumping around the website to investigate some other foodie friends and their edible creations. Congratulations Foodbuzz!
