A Natural Alternative is the lucky winner of "Let Herbs Do It" by Virginia Williams Bentley in the October cookbook giveaway contest. Congratulations Natural Alternative!
For the November Cookbook Giveaway, I will be giving away a hardcover copy of "John Sarich at Chateau Ste. Michelle: For Cooks Who Love Wine", by John Sarich and Lori McKean (Seattle: Sasquatch Books, 1997). This book by the Culinary Director of this Washington State winery offers many menus and recipes for everyday meals, celebrations and slower-cooking weekend dinners. Lots of fabulous wine advice and food porn photos as well.
As always, entries are made by leaving a comment after this post. Do so by midnight, November 30th, 2008 to be eligible to have this book sent to you courtesy of the Crispy Cook. Good luck to everyone!

Oooh! I just got married and was left with an absurd amount of wine from the reception... I need some inspiring recipes. My friends are getting tired of receiving the same old bottles from us!
Definitely could use advice on how to cook with wine...
Wishing to WIN!!!
As a former Seattle local and frequent Chateau Ste. Michelle visitor and concert goer, I am sure this book is wonderful! (How did I miss owning it?!) Sounds like a great give-away.
I would love to try out this cookbook. Happen to love this winery too.
Chateau Ste. Michelle produces fabulous wines that are perfect for drinking or cooking! This book just HAS to be great as well. Thanks for the opportunity!
